RAGBRAI's 50th-anniversary ride pays homage to the "one epic ride/one epic party" planned for July 26, when riders overnight in the capital city after a 54-mile roll from Ames that will seek to shatter the world record for the largest one-day ride. It will be the fourth of seven days on the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa from Sioux City to Davenport.
