Joshua's life has always revolved around music. He lives to play music and never really met a musical instrument he didn't like. In addition to electric and acoustic guitar, drums, and piano, Josh plays trumpet, cello, accordion, 12-string, and bass guitar.
Active in Scouts, concert band, jazz band, and choir, Joshua was honored to be selected for OPUS (State Honor Choir) as a 7th-grader. Joshua was a ROCK n ROLL Music Association, Iowa Rocks Talent Contest Winner at the age of 15 with his band THE CRUST. He also loves art, is a Des Moines Art Center scholarship winner, and is an accomplished and creative cook.
At just 18, Joshua is already carving his path in the music industry. He is writing new music and performing with both The CRUST and PROCEDURE.
By day, he hones his carpentry skills as an apprentice carpenter, and by afternoon and evening, he immerses himself in the world of guitars, working as a guitar tech and salesperson at Pro Music Center.
Joshua intends to spend his life as a musician, mastering his craft and building a reputation for excellence. Music is his passion. He loves rock but is eager to play with accomplished musicians in any genre.
